FAQ — Download ong88 App

Yes, the ong88 app is completely safe. The ong88 Android APK file has undergone security testing and contains no malware, viruses or malicious code. The app is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption and only requests permissions necessary for gaming functions — it does not access your contacts, messages or any other personal data on your phone.

The "Unknown Sources" setting is required because the ong88 app is distributed directly through the website and not via the Google Play Store. This is common practice for many legitimate apps in Malaysia. After installing the ong88 app, you can turn this setting back off if you wish for added security. It does not affect the functionality of the installed ong88 app.

Yes, your ong88 account is one and the same across all platforms — Android app, iOS app, PWA and web browser. Your balance, game history, active bonuses and profile information are always synced in real time regardless of which device you use. You can log in with the same credentials on any device.

Data usage depends on the type of game. Slots use approximately 3–8 MB per hour as most graphics are cached locally. Live Casino with HD video streaming uses more data — approximately 150–300 MB per hour depending on stream quality. The ong88 app updates itself automatically in the background whenever a new version is available. You'll also receive in-app notifications when a major update is ready. To update manually, go to Settings within the app and select "Check for Updates". For Android, you can also re-download the latest APK file from the ong88 website.
